We carry a variety of fresh organic produce, as well as a good selection of essential products, at an affordable price. Joy Farm Market is proudly locally owned, and we are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team, who can support to our management, assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities.

Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Starting Date: As soon as possible

Position Available: 1

Wage: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour (depending on working experience)

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Benefit: 4 % Vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation

Job Duties:

  • Respond to general inquiries from business partners, wholesale agents, and customers via call, e-mail, or letter and redirect them to the appropriate person when needed;
  • Create and maintain the report of purchase orders, including producers, kinds, quantities, qualities, and prices;
  • Check and orders office supplies in advance to avoid any interruptions or delay in administrative procedures;
  • Schedule company meetings and record minutes of meeting and follow up with management;
  • Follow and update administrative procedures to support management on administrative works;
  • Prepare and keep physical/electronic invoices following current filing system;
  • Contact and collaborate with business partners including other local retail stores and e-commerce platforms;



  • Completion of secondary school is required;
  • Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries OR at least 1 year of previous clerical experience is required;
  • Knowledge of general office procedures;
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for the professional work environment;
