Overtime: As per provincial standards - $68.51 after 8hrs/day, 40hrs/wk

Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics,
commerce or a related field
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting,
financial planning and analysis or other financial activities

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting and reconciliation of consolidated business results
- Develop and implement the controls testing process, including conducting reviews and testing of financial reporting controls compliance along with monitoring and overseeing the remediation of deficiencies identified
- Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational, procedural and reporting functions
- Participate and assist in the development of budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities and identify any accounting or financial issues and suggest timely solutions
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Assess current accounting operations and controls and offer recommendations for improvement and/or the implementing new processes
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training and retaining of skilled accounting staff
- Work with process owners to scope, design, and implement controls to address key risks and ensuring design adequacy and operating effectiveness of financial controls
- Oversee projects and communicate with different cultures and levels of the organization
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- Report to the President with timely and accurate financial information
