Job Description
F/T Long Haul Truck Drivers required for SEVEN VALLEYS TRANSPORTATION INC. located at Unit# 12 - 19480, 66 Avenue, Surrey, BC V4N 5W7
Salary: $26/hr for 40 hours per week. Overtime Starts at 50 hours per week.
No. of Positions: 10 (Full-time/Permanent)
Education: High School
Credentials: Driver's License BC Class 1 or AZ, Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
Duties to be performed:
- Drive and Operate articulated truck to transport goods and materials.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Plan travel schedules and routes.
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires.lights brakes and other equipment, perform brake adjustments,.
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventative maintenance.
- Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers.
- Willing to travel for extended periods
- May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
