Logistics Supervisor

Star pacific transport ltd. is a well-known transportation company which is based in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

We are currently looking for one (01) full-time, permanent Logistics Supervisor (NOC: 1215) for our business.

 Work Location: Unit 122, 32083 Hillcrest Ave, Abbotsford, BC – V2S 1S3

 Requirements:

• Education: Completion of Secondary school is required. Any further related degree or diploma would be considered an asset.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in related field is required.
• Language: Knowledge of English language. 

Wages: $25.50/hr. for 40 hrs./week +4% Vacation pay

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the scheduling and dispatching of goods.
• Prepare and verify transport/shilling documentation.
• Assign and review the work other staff engaged in the duties of shipping, receiving, distributing etc.
• Order Materials and supplies as per the requirement.
• Provide training to the workers
• Prepare the work schedule for the workers.
• Review the workers performance and prepare report.
• Keep the record of expenditure and bring ideas to reduce extra expenditures.
• Make sure all work done with following proper safety procedures.
• Make sure all the system and machinery are working in good condition.
• Arrange maintenance and repair work for machinery on timely basis.
