Additional Skills
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff.
- Supervise activities of specialized cooks and other kitchen workers.
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis for special functions.
- Prepare and cook meals or specialist foods.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Experiment and create new food menu with unique dishes on customer demands.
- Serve hot and crispy South Indian food and supervise other culinary operations.
- Ensure the quality of food and maintain proper hygiene at cooking station.
- Cook classical Indian curries with an authentic south Indian spices.
