Bakery Counter Clerk

We offer:  C$15.65/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation. Overtime will be calculated after 40hrs.

Work location: 5397 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, B.C, V5P 3V6

Employment requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience in a similar role is an asset.
• Ability to work during weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with questions and information about food ingredients, different types of Vietnamese sandwiches, and other products.
• Advise customers on the selection of Vietnamese sandwiches.
• Take orders for customers (in person and on phone)
• Quote prices for food items.
• Receive payments (via credit card, debit card, or cash) and issue receipts for customers.
• Assist in packing the Vietnamese sandwiches and desserts when needed.
• Assist store displays, signage, pricing, and cleanliness.
• Help to order the supply for the store.
• Maintain weekly and monthly sale records for inventory control and report to management.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures from city by-law.
• May train other staff where necessary.
• Follow Covid-19 protocols.
