The ideal candidates must be passionate, hard-working, self-motivated and can prepare delicious meals while maintaining company standards of excellence.

Key Job duties

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods based on standardized recipes.
• Plan menus and ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Oversee kitchen operations and staff by scheduling and supervising kitchen helpers.
  • Work with restaurant equipment including grill, fryer, freezer, and other related cooking equipment while following all health and safety standards.
  • Maintain kitchen inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Work as a "team" member to assure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness, and value to each customer.

Job Requirements

• Education: - Completion of secondary school.
• Experience: 2-3 years of cooking experience in a commercial environment OR completion of education in cooking/culinary.
  • Language: English.
  • Skills: Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, Attention to detail and organizational skills, Strong communication skills
