Cook, East Indian cuisine
We require highly experienced cook (5 years minimum) to perpare full assortment of Indian breads, snacks including but not imited to naan, roti, Prantha, Chapati, Phulka, puri, kulcha, bhatura, bread pakora, mixed vegeteble pakora, paneer, pakora, samosa, allo tikka
Prepare full array of Indian vegetarian curry dishes, eg. channa, allo ghobi, matar paneer, shahi paneer, Dal Makhni, Baigan bharta, dal fry, jal Frazi, veg korma, veg biryani
Able to proficiently operate tandoor oven
knowledge and ability to prepare sweets
Able to estimate time requirements to meet customer orders,
prepare catering dishes according to customer requirements
Able to train new staff
Ensure food quality and food safety, including safe refrigeration of ingredients
correctly receive orders and process and rspond appropriately to customer concerns
take necessary steps to meet customer needs and effectively resolve food or service issues
inspect kitchens and food service areas and ensure all produts meet high level of health and safety standards,
estimate food requirements and maintain up to date inventory for routine activities as well as special events
