NSJ has a job opening of Construction Project Manager. This is a permanent full-time job opportunity that assumes responsibility for the planning and directing the constructions in our residential and commercial construction projects.
Construction Project Manager (NOC 0711)
• Plan, organize, direct, control, evaluate construction projects, determine from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
• Coordinate project meetings with customers, designers, trades, contractors and other project staff managing updates and scheduling modifications
• Hire and supervise contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
About the Job Requirements:
Following are the job skills and requirements for this position:
• Degree/Diploma in engineering or in a related program is preferred;
• Must have a minimum of 5 years project manager working experience with a developer or general contractor working on residential and/or commercial type projects;
• Strong negotiating and communication skills;
• Work closely with team members and decision-makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery;
About the Working Hours, Salary:
• Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
• Job Salary: $42 per hour.
