Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week,Full-time/ Permanent

 

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Wage: $28.00-$32.00 (Depending on Experience)

Job Duties:

 

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments by using various welding processes
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
• Operate brazing or soldering equipment to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal, etc
• Determine weldability of materials

 

 

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

 

**** Completion of an apprenticeship program or some college or industry course in welding will be consider as asset.

 

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the welding is required.

 

Language: English
