Jmar Glass is currently looking for One (1) full-time glazier NOC (7292) to join our positive, hard-working team.

Qualification:

• Completion of High School is required
• Completion of 3-4 year of program or degree in related field or 3-4 years of experience in related field is required.
• Knowledge of English Language

Duties to be performed

• Repair glass doors and other glass structures
• Position and secure panes in frame
• Measure, mark and cut glasses.
• Install door, window and other hardware
• Determine type of glass, frames and material required
• Skylights and slope glazed installations
• Install Aluminum storefronts, barrel vaults, solariums, commercial window systems
• Will performs repair or replacement or servicing on site existing installed windows or glass sealed units
• Install, fit, fabricate and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial and residential buildings
• Estimate the cost for clients

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Outdoors in all temperatures, working at heights, safety sensitive work sites.
• Physically demanding: heavy lifting, standing, bending, and kneeling.

Wages: $26.00/hr for 40 hours/week

Benefits: As per BC employment standards act + 4% Vacation pay on each schedule pay cheque.
