Business Development Agent

Responsibilities

• Find new potential partner leads to expand our accommodation or other travel product listings in your region and communicate proactively with them.
• Responsible for supporting new and/or re-joined partners to maintain their partnerships with TongCheng Travel by identifying their needs and challenges and providing solutions
• Be knowledgeable on TongCheng Travel’s products so that their benefits and usage can be explained to Partners
• Responsible for taking Customer Service escalations which relate to newly registered and/or re-joined partners and solving these in the most efficient manner for the business partner and customer
• Support the organization of events, such as workshops and webinars, for partners 
• Other local affairs.

Skilled

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant account management function
• Fluent English and Mandarin speaker and writer
• Affinity or experience within travel industry
• Pro-active, sense of responsibility and can work independently
• Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
• Team player, self-motivated, flexible, and open to change
• Positive attitude
• Hotel School, or University background preferred
• Canadian citizen or permanent preferred
