Shift Supervisor

Wall Centre Starbucks is looking for a full-time Shift Supervisor!

As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. As a team lead, you will deploy partners and delegate tasks to create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles and best of all, you’ll be part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work and the people here love what they do.

Position: Shift Supervisor (Permanent, Full-Time / NOC 6311 - Food Service Supervisor)

Position available: 1

Location: 1088 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC  V6Z 2R9

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Working Hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary

Job Duties:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare food and beverage.
• Estimate requirements and order ingredients, food, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain records of stock, equipment, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare timetables, work schedules, cleaning schedules or coordinates their preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary (high) school
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food service/industry
• Must be fluent in verbal and written English
• Must be available to work in between 5AM-7PM
• Must be available to work for opening shifts for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Must be available to work on holidays
