We are currently hiring  full-time Carpenter to join our growing team to work full-time on different projects in BC.

 

Position Details

Terms of employment: Full-Time; Permanent

Salary: $29.00 per hour

Number of positions: 1

Start date: As soon as possible
Work location(s): Various Locations in Lower Mainland (BC) and/or as per company’s contracts

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding

Job responsibilities/duties

 

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Precisely measure and mark guidelines needed to build structures.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join lumber and wood material.
• Cut, create, fit, and install different trim items as required.
• Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing prefabricated products.
• Operate measuring, hand, and power carpentry tools.
• Train and supervise other helpers on site.

 

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

 

• Completion of high School and Good English.
• Completion of 3-4-year apprenticeship program or at least 3 years of work experience in trade.  

 

Note

 

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 to qualified candidates.
• The company will pay $500.00 CAD as a referral incentive if any of the current company’s employee refers a candidate and company eventually hires that candidate.
