Child Caregiver
Great Job Opportunity!
Permanent Full Time Child Caregiver - Private Home wanted for Hans’ residence at the Richardson Drive Community in Surrey BC. Wage rate is $15.65 per hour and works 40 hours per week. Benefit includes 10-day vacation leave per year and dental coverage. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis but please note that this is NOT a condition of employment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Supervise and care for two little children in the employer's private residence and may reside in employer's home but this is not a condition of employment
- Bathe, dress and feed the children
- Prepare formulas and change diapers of the toddler
- Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the parents/employers
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Tend to the emotional well-being of the children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents/employers
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for the children and perform other light housekeeping duties
- Maintain a healthy environment in the home
- May travel with the family as required to assist in supervision of the children

Education: Completion of high school
Work experience: Previous work experience an asset but not required as employer will train.
Language of work: English
