Construction Cleaner

Phoenix Construction is a quality builder providing construction and property management services in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley (BC). We are currently looking for Construction Cleaners to be a part of team as soon as possible.

Position: Construction Cleaner

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 4

Salary: $26.45 per hour

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work location: Various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley (BC) and/or as per company’s contracts

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding

Job Duties

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
  Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Perform minor repair/maintenance jobs such as painting, plumbing and drywall as per foreman instructions. 
• Clean snow and ice from construction sites.
  Work with minimal supervision.
• Perform other construction cleaning duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Completion of high school would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Some work experience in same/similar work would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Functional English is required.
• Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
