Retail Store Supervisor

Our Optometry clinic located at 317 3rd Ave W Prince Rupert; BC is urgently looking for One (01) full-time, permanent Retail Store Supervisor (NOC: 6211). In this role, your duties will include overseeing employees and payments, and controlling the quality of products and services. You may also be required to evaluate the job performance of retail staff. 

Work Location: 317 3rd Ave W Prince Rupert; BC 

Job duties: 

-        Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff 

-        Hire and arrange training of new staff 

-        Deal with client complaints and resolve situation 

-        Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage 

-        Authorize discounts and write offs 

-        Prepare reports on sales volume 

-        Ensure no shortage of product and inventory orders are placed according to schedule 

-        Ensure quality of product. 

-        Resolve work related issues and handle customer complaints. 

-        Implement new strategies on promoting brands and merchandise 

-        Ensure store displays and standees are rotated weekly 

-        Ensure store is open and closed on time 

-        Prepare staff schedule and ensure duties assigned are being met 

 

Job Type: Full time, permanent 

Wage: $25.30/hr for 40 hr/week 

Benefits: 4% vacation pay
