Gandhi family is looking for a full time caregiver to look after their children at their residence located at Surrey, BC, Canada

Salary: $16.50 per hour

Minimum working hours: 40/week

Experience:  minimum of 7 months to 1 year

Position: 1; Permanent, Full time
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Language: must have good English skills.

Education:  Applicant should have completed his/her Secondary School with course in Child care will be an asset. 

Worksite Environment: non-smoking


Duties to perform:

  • Prepare food and snacks for children and organize meal time.
  •  Monitor and supervise children keeping them safe and healthy
  • Organize activities designed to help children learn about their world and develop their own interests.
  • Create schedule to ensure that children have adequate physical activity, rest, food and intellectual stimulation.
  • Make them read books as per their age level.
  • Control their screen time by engaging in physical or mental activities.
  • Watch for any signs of behavioral or emotional problems in children and alerts parents to the problems.
  • Take children to activities like swimming lessons, sports practices and school.
  • Keep record of children’s routines throughout the day.
  • Do not leave kids unattended while playing out or in home.
  • May need to accompany parents for doctor’s appointment.
  • May need to travel with the family on trips and help supervise the kids.
