Position: Demolition Supervisor

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: C$36.00/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Education: Completion of secondary school.

Location: 12618 113B Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3V 3P3

Main Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of all the workers including heavy equipments.
• Order supplies and material needed
• Make schedules of the workers and coordinate work activities with other project supervisors and managers
• Take measures to improve productivity of the workers.
• Resolve work related problems
• Read the blue prints and drawings.
• Explain the task to the construction labour and other people as assigned.
• Train or arrange training for the staff.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, labourers and helpers.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
• Be accountable and responsible for the team’s ability to meet production goals
