Food Service Supervisor

We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor for our Subway located at 1379 Sumas Way Abbotsford BC. The Supervisor would work 8 hours a day for 40 hours a week. This is a full time job position.

The job duties the Supervisor will be responsible for are:

• Oversee and supervise daily operations of the restaurant.

• Prioritize, schedule, review and evaluate assigned new staff.

• Resolve routine problems encountered in performance of work assignments.

• Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food.

• Ensure that food and service meet the Subway operations manual.

• Manage the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment, and supplies.

• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

• Train new staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures

• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation

• Support any position if necessary.

We are offering:

• $18 per hour

• 4% vacation pay

• Overtime will be paid for any hall ours more than 40 hours per week

What we need:

• High school graduation is required

• 1-2 years of work experience is required
