Marketing assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist marketing team, clients and partners on marketing strategy
• Work and learn with various types of software for digital marketing
• Work closely with sales and marketing department
• Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs
• Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
• Assembles consumer rating reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations
• Maintain a marketing database and develop promotional materials
• Deliver and prepare spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
• Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

• College/CEGEP certification in marketing, business, or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience, marketing experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Data Entry skills, Microsoft Office & Microsoft Access skills
• Interactive and pro-active on social media to maintain advertising & marketing relations
• Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications
• Key Skills required are Attention to detail, Adaptability, Organizational skills, time management, Confidence, Commercial awareness, Good team working

WAGES / HOURS 

$31.50 / hour for 35 hours per week
