Canyon Springs Montessori Academy has been striving to provide the best Montessori education and environment for children more than 25 years. We have two locations in Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows, and they share the same curriculum that consists of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language Arts, and Mathematics. Currently, we are looking for Early Childhood Education Workers in our Pitt Meadows Location to start, continue, or expand their careers at Canyon Springs Montessori Academy.
Job Title:Early Childhood Education Worker
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Number of Position: 4 Positions
Hourly Wage: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on work experience)
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Working Location: 18477 Old Dewdney Trunk Road, Pitt Meadows, B.C. V3Y 1Z1
Benefits: 4% vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation + Extended Medical Insurance after 3 months of employment
Job Duties:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate children’s activities and experiences;
- Work with children and assisting them with exploring, learning and sharing;
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits;
- Monitor children’s progress and development;
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for children;
- Assist in keeping the centre tidy and organized;
- Ensure positive communication with children and parents.
Qualification:
- Completion of college/vocational training in Early Childhood Education (ECE);
- BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate is required;
- Current and clear Criminal Record Check;
- Previous work experience as an Early Childhood Education Worker is an asset but not a mandatory.
