Job Description
- Oversee IT sales and marketing activities to achieve corporate revenue goals
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing sales representatives to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
- Provide guidance to sales representatives in their assigned duties
- Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
- Address customer inquiries about products and services offered
- Represent company brand in sales conferences and trade shows
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and specifications
- Identify selling strategies and opportunities to increase revenue
- Oversee the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback
- Plan and assign daily workload to sales team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
- 5+ years’ experience in sales management, preferably in an IT organization
- Capable of supervising 5-10 people
- Well versed with MS Office & MS Access
- Competent in taking $500,001 - $1,500,000 budgetary responsibility
- Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) in English, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership ability
