Position: General Farm Worker

Wage Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Vacancies: 30

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

Perform basic crop requirement duties like planting,

fertilising, cultivating, spraying, irrigating and harvesting the crops. Operate and maintain farm related equipment’s and machinery.

Set and monitor water lines.

Assist in inspection, grading, sorting and storing of crops.

Follow food and crop safety procedures.

Operate and assist in maintain farm machinery.

Figure out diseases or other problems of the crops.

Write daily report of the field.

Maintain cleanliness at the work area.

Perform general farm duties as instructed by the supervisor or manager.

Job Requirements:

Language: English

Education: High School

Experience: Experience in the field is an asset.

Benefits: Relocation costs and medical insurance will be covered by the employer for first three months, if required.
