As in the name they provide multi-disciplinary care for their patients - providing access to doctors, pharmacists, nutritionists, psychotherapists, dietitians, weight loss specialists, etc. In evaluating patients' symptoms, they assess whether symptoms are due to illness, due to side effects of drugs taken or due to drug-induced nutrient depletion.

They put emphasis on making the patient’s next visit to a clinic or pharmacy a positive experience. Their doctors, pharmacists and staff bring a wealth of experience and a friendly personality to healthcare.
The pharmacy offers a wide variety of services including: free blister packs, prescription transfers, patient counselling and much more. Their medical practice is made up of family physicians, as well as a walk-in clinic. They also provide virtual clinic services to their patients should that be a more convenient method of getting in touch with a doctor.

The business has identified the need for a pharmacy technical assistant to join them on a full-time basis. The employer offers a salary of $27.00 hourly, with Health care plan. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
  • Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases and prepare medications for clients
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
  • Interpret physician's specification
