Nanny

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•       Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

•       Other related duties as required

•       Cooking for the kids (breakfast/lunch/dinner) every day.

•       Light cleaning & laundry;

•       Taking kids to activities; swimming, park, library, child development groups

•       Responsible for the house/kids while parents are working

•       Instruct children in personal hygiene, assist with toilet training

•       Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

•      Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both written and oral forms. Second language skills are an asset

•      Highly organized with the ability to multi-task

•      Positive attitude, friendly, outgoing personality;

•      Completion of a high school diploma is required

•      Minimum 1-year relevant experience in a similar position

•      English language proficiency

•      First Aid and CPS certification preferred

•      Experience with caring for infants and toddlers is preferred

 

Work setting: Private Home

 

Job type- Full-time

Pay Rate/ Salary: CAD$17 per hour
