Job duties will include but not limited to:

• Perform the full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes
• Assessing, planning, implementation, evaluation and documenting client care, and providing support to clients
• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and under general supervision, and support the registered nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes.
• Work under the direction of a RN for patients where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be currently licensed by BCCNM ( British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives)
• Certification of CPR, First-aid and Medication Management Program
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Related experience of one year is an asset
