Job Duties Assistant Cook (Indian Cuisine)

1. Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients
2. Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas in accordance with company and health safety standards
3. Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment
4. Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens
5. Unloading supplies and organising the storeroom
6. Any other help that the cook may need in order to prepare any dishes
