Insulator Helper

Instant Insulation Ltd. is a construction company located at 131 street, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. We are currently looking for insulator helpers to join our growing team.

Positions vacant: 2

Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent, occasional overtime is required

Wages: $21.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, overtime pay starts after 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day

Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period

Work location: various locations across lower mainland area, depends on job project site

Job type: residential, industrial and renovation construction job projects

Start date: as soon as possible. We will provide on the job training.

Job requirements:

• No education is required
• No prior experience is required, we will provide on the job training
• Language: English

Job duties:

• Assist skilled insulators in construction activities
• Load and unload construction materials from company vehicle
• Move construction material to work areas for skilled insulators
• Make sure job sites are left clean and tidy and store construction material at the end of the shift as required by skilled insulators
• Move extra construction material to company vehicle at the end of job project
• Attend safety meetings
• Must follow the safety guidelines all the time at work
• Remove asbestos, other containments and hazardous materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Assist the insulators in preparing the job sites for work by performing duties such as erect and dismantle scaffolding.

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:  Repetitive tasks, Physical demanding, weight handling upto13.5 kg (30 lbs)
