Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)

Wage Rate: $26.75 per hour, for 40.00 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Suite 108 - 12025 Nordel Way, Surrey, BC V3W 1W1

Education: High School

Work Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Language: English

Job Duties:

• Recommend hairstyles or haircuts compatible with client's physical features or identify style from client's instructions and preferences.
• Manage bookings and serve walk-ins.
• Wash, rinse, and dry client’s hair using appropriate products.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair using appropriate equipment.
• Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage.
• Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences.
• Analyse hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• May train or supervise other hairstylists and helpers.
