Human Resources Officer

Ukee Peninsula Motel is currently looking for a Human Resources Officer (NOC: 1223)

Main Duties:

• Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
• Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
• Prepare and post notices and advertisements
• Collect resumes and screen applicants
• Review candidate inventories
• Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
• Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
• Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
• Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
• Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate termination of employment process
• Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
• Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counselling and recognition programs

Requirements:
• College diploma in related field is an asset
• 2 years of related work experience

Wage: $29.50-31.50 per hour, 30 hours per week
Positions available: 1 full time, permanent position
