Restaurant assistant manager

Salary: Ranging from $21 to $24 per hour for 40 - 44 hours per week

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of a restaurant
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Conduct performance reviews
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
• Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Cost food and services for special events
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering and use of facilities for events
• Participate in, and coordinate with, marketing plans and implementation
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Listen to, and resolve, customer complaints
• Assist in recruiting staff and overseeing staff training
