Job Title: Retail Sales Supervisor

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Supervisor to oversee daily store operations and lead the sales team. This position requires on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely, as it involves direct supervision of staff and hands-on customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Supervise, support, and coordinate the work of sales staff and cashiers on-site

 

Assign daily duties and prepare staff work schedules

 

Approve customer payments, refunds, and merchandise returns

 

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly

 

Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed

 

Prepare reports on sales performance, merchandising, and staff matters

 

Hire new employees and provide training or arrange training programs

 

Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and feedback

 

Ensure the store’s appearance meets company standards, including displays, signage, and cleanliness

 

Assist with sales and cashier duties when required

 

Perform key holder and managerial duties such as opening and closing the store

 

Manage escalated customer concerns and sign for deliveries

 

Assist in developing and carrying out in-store promotions and marketing activities

 

Work Location:

 

On-site position only: this role cannot be done remotely

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Previous retail sales or supervisory experience preferred

 

Strong leadership and communication skills

 

Good organizational and problem-solving skills

 

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

 

Customer-focused with a positive attitude
