Responsibilities

Tasks

• Operate and drive straight or transport cargo in and across North America
• Plan trip logistics and prepare required documentation
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and accessories
• Maintain records of transportation of containers and record trip details: container info, distance traveled, gas consumption.
• Must be willing to work as a single driver and/or as a team driver.
• Manage bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain logbooks.
• Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers.
