Position: Construction Helper

Job Type: Full time; Permanent
Salary: $26.45 per hour

Number of Positions: 5

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work locations: Various locations in lower mainland, greater Vancouver areas of British Columbia and/or as per company’s contracts with its clients

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding

Job Duties

• Load, unload, and transport construction supplies to the work site.
• Assist skilled tradespersons by carrying tools and materials and helping in their other construction activities.
• Mix, pour and spread materials used in construction.
• Remove rubble and debris using rakes, shovels, and other equipment at job site.
• Prepare construction site by digging trenches, filling holes, and compacting the soil.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Follow all safety procedures on the work sites.
• Perform other activities as directed.

Job Requirements

• No experience needed; we will train.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
