Shift Manager

GW & G Investments Inc. o/a Burger King Restaurant is looking for 2 Shift Managers at our North Vancouver location.

Position: Shift Manager

Employment Available: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants)                

Wage & Benefit:

- $17.00/hr-$18.00/hr based on 30-36 hr/wk with 4% paid vacation (Overtime will be paid after 8hrs/day, and 40hrs/wk)

- Extended medical plan (qualified candidate)

Language: English

Requirements:

- Education: Completion of Secondary school

- Experience: At least 1-2 years experience in related fields or completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline

Work Location: 700-801 Marine Drive, North Vancouver, BC, V7P 3K6

Duties:

- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and portion food

- Establish methods to meet work schedules

- Ensure food and service quality control standards

- Ensuring compliance to health and safety standards, COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan

- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

- Order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation

- May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets

- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
