Position: Cook - (NOC: 6322)  

Head Office: 5790 Beach Ave, Peachland BC, Canada V0H 1X6

Experience: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate or Equivalent Experience

Education: 3 years to less than 5 years

Number of Openings: 4

Term of Employment- Permanent Employment, Full Time, 30 to 40 hours/week

Wage: $16.00/hour

Job Duties:

• Manage kitchen operations
• Organize and manage buffets
• Recruit and hire staff
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Order supplies and equipment
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
