Bistro Marcel is looking for two cooks to join their team. This is a full time, permanent positions to start as soon as possible.

Work location: As same as company address

Number or positions available: 2

NOC 2006: 6242; NOC 2011: 6322

Hours: 30 Hours per Week

Wage: $16-18 per hour

 

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Completion of Secondary education
• 1 year of related work experience

 

Main Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
