Marketing Assistant

J.San Sushi Bar (186 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON M5B 2B7) is looking for a Marketing Assistant

The position is permanent, full-time based.

The employee is required to be flexible to cover shifts, some weekends. Overtime may be required. Hours will vary from day, night and evenings.

Salary: $32.50 per hour, 30-44 hours/week

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Job Duties:

• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
• Gather, research and prepare communications material for internal and external audiences
• Provide support to Consultants and Client Service Representatives
• Event Planning for both internal and external events
• Collaborate on new campaigns and strategies to increase market exposure and new business
• Develop a high level of social media marketing expertise and contribute to overall departmental strategy

Requirements:
•Education: A university degree or college diploma

• Previous Experience in the same field and/or previous full-time training in the field will be an asset.
• Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
