About the Position & Term of Employment:

Choy Foony Int’l Trading Co. Inc. has a job opening of Transport Truck Driver. This is a permanent full-time job opportunity that assumes responsibility of transporting food and grocery supplies to grocery stores, restaurants, wholesalers, and convenient stores in Ontario and Quebec.

Transport Truck Driver

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, perform preventive maintenance;
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle;
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch;
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption;
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

About the Job Requirements:

Following are the job skills and requirements for this position:

• Completion of a driver training course.
• Completion of secondary school
• Possess a class D licence
• A full class AZ license endorsement would be a definite asset and will be given preference

• Organized and reliable

About the Working Hours, Salary:

• Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
• Job Salary: $25 per hour.
