We will provide:

- Minimum of 37.5 hours/ week throughout your employment period

- Paid Vacation of 2 Weeks each year or 4% of salary

- Pay at $24.75 to $25.75 per hour

 

Duties

  • Updating of office records and databases that contain personnel, financial, and office data. Processing and filing invoices, purchase orders and other contracts.
  • Ensuring smooth flow of information within the various departments (HR, Fleet, and Marketing) to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Provide assistance with different budgeting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Overseeing office supplies and services, including restocking and purchasing tools, equipment and materials as required by the team.
  • Drafting correspondence such as emails, letters, packages, and phone calls
  • Coordinating and managing appointments and meetings with owner operators, customers, and vendors
  • Responsible for office payments within approved expense limits and make sure that they are made within reasonable time to ensure business continuity (fuel cards, office telephone, office cleaning services, office utility bills (power, water, Wi-Fi, security etc.)
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding the new shipment policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain all electronic and hardcopy documentation, including bill of ladings, log books, and office related documents.
  • Create and track attendance records of front staff and submit reports to the manager.
  • Manage internal staff relations and maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment

 

Requirements

  • Secondary education completion required and a college certificate/diploma is preferred
  • One month of clerical experience is required
  • Ability to work legally in Canada
