Food & Beverage Manager

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible to deliver exceptional

guest experiences to all patrons by delivering high-quality food and

beverages and exceptional customer service. You will assist in creating the

systems and structures to optimize our operations and create "I-can't-

believe-they-did-that" moments by performing all duties in a friendly and

professional manner and ensure that the guests have an enjoyable food &

beverage experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direction and leadership to your hotel food and beverage team and ensure all

standard operating procedures are followed

• Train and develop all team members so that we foster a

knowledgeable, personal, and customer-focused culture at Canalta

• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices as needed.

• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

Qualifications: (experience needed and education)

• At least two years of experience in the food service sector, including at least six months in a managerial capacity.

• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service an asset

• Must be flexible on the work schedule as the person will be required to work on various shifs (day, evenings, weekends)

Salary: $22.00 / Hour

Vacation: 2 weeks per year after first year worked

Job Type: Full-time permanent, minimum 32  hours per week 

Language: Intermediate English speaking is required.
