Our Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Richmond - West has been in business since 2006, serving more than 500 students each year. In order to improve more quality of teaching and meet the essential demand of business expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced Education Program Advisor to join our fabulous team.

Salary: $38.46 / hour

Benefits: Benefits package is available to qualified candidates.

Terms of Employment: Indeterminate, Full-time (at least 32 hours per week).

Employment requirements:

· A minimum of bachelor’s degree in education is required. Master’s degree in education or related industry is preferred.

· A minimum of three years of experience in managing education program is required.

Languages required: English

Job Duties:

· Overview current curriculum and propose the additional supporting materials for Reading program if necessary.

· Frequently update the policies, standards and frameworks form BC Education to adjust the operation of centre accordingly.

· Overview the current teaching standard and classroom policies to provide detail report of effectiveness of education system at the centre.

· Design and create supporting teaching materials that improve the performance and achievement of student in Reading program.

· Lead the identification of gaps and emerging needs in kid’s studying methodology in order to proactively recommend new innovated delivery to improve kids learning.

· Monitor the program and service reviews, and provide quality assurance for these processes.

· Liaise with the instructors to identify the impediments of delivering programs and lead to improve the problems.

· Provide direction and guidance to teachers in the planning, development and implementation of effective programs.

· Act as a resource to teachers regarding educational methods, visual and audio teaching aids, program planning, etc.

· Attend to staff’s meeting periodically.
