TRUCK DRIVER

Job Description:

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Transport and handle dangerous goods
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone

Security and Safety :

Valid passport, Criminal record check, Drug test, Medical exam, Driver's validity licence check, Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)

Wage: $26.50 per hour for 30 hours a week
