Vice President of Operation

Token Studio is a designer toys retailer with a mission to bring toy and excitement to all toy lovers who like collectable toys and blind box toys. The first priority with Token is to spread as much elegant sculptural art as possible.

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time, results-oriented and enthusiastic Vice President of Operation who will assist the Director to take the responsibility of the organization's operation and brand initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve operational procedures and policies and ensure processes are clearly defined and being well executed
• Support store expansion initiatives including sourcing and fully-developing new stores
• Analyse data of productivity of retail sales, marketing and logistics departments
• Allocate the resources of among departments and establish corresponding management mechanisms for finance, marketing, administration, and sales performance
• Co-ordinate the work of departmental heads, as well as internal and external work
• Recruit and interview all managerial personnel as needed
• Train and supervise high performing middle managers to maximize productivity
• Oversee budget management including labor, benefits, company assets, maintenance and repair, and responsible for fiscal and administration controls
• Represent the company in negotiations or other official functions

Qualifications:

• College diploma or above 
• At least three years managerial experiences in trade, retail, logistic, marketing or related sectors, with proven success.
• Japanese or Chinese language is an asset.
• Managerial experience in Toy industry in a great asset.
• Good team player with high resistance for work pressure.
• Result-oriented person with high resilience.

Job location: Richmond, BC

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent

Start date: As soon as possible

Wage: $50.00 per hour

Working hours: 30 hours per week

Bonus: Annually bonus depending on sales performance
