-Assign sales workers to duties,

- Authorize return of merchandise, Sell merchandise,

- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters,

- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers,

- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages,

- Organize and maintain inventory
