Cambridge International Academy is a co-educational private day school, offering Reach Ahead Credits, University and College preparatory programs, and Cooperative Education opportunities. At Cambridge International Academy, we cater to the individual needs, talents, and interests of students by customizing their academic pathways. In addition to the normal high school curriculum and University and College preparatory programs, the school adopts personalized training for students and provides one-to-one tutoring courses after class. For students or any adults with weak language skills, school provides ESL course training. In 2021, the school is now engaged in IELTS training program for the students who need prepare for IELTS exam for immigration or academic purpose.

We are looking for a trustworthy and personable School Administrator to join our school and assist the school to manage language training and after-school training setting.

 

Language: English

Education: At least Bachelor’s degree

Salary: hourly wage of $48.5, work 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

Annual Salary: $88,270

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of the department
  • Develop curriculum for training programs
  • Evaluate and standardize curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Plan, administer and control budgets, monitor expenditures
  • May recruit and hire staff
  • Ensure the school complies with relevant laws and regulations
  • Support faculty with training, enrichment, and goal-setting
  • Communicate with parents regarding failing grades, mental health or disciplinary issues
  • Take into account each tutors/teacher’s workload and extracurricular activities when developing class schedules
  • Draft and interpret school regulations and deal with queries and complaints procedures
  • Maintain high levels of quality assurance, including course evaluation and course approval procedures
  • Counsel students when needed
  • Represent and maintain school image and reputation

 

Employment requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in education industry;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in customer service of education industry and expertise in maintenance of customer relationship;
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, management, and communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving, critical thinking skills and ability;
  • Good judgment and decision-making aptitude
  • A willingness to work overtime.
  • Master's degree is preferred
