Thunderbird Animal Hospital in Langley, BC provides veterinary care to animals. We provide a very warm and friendly environment for pets. Our team makes sure that the pets always get the highest level of care. We are committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Our services include routine preventive care, a surgical procedure, dentistry and radiology.
Currently, we are hiring for a full-time and permanent “Veterinary Technician” for our clinic. The candidate must be a team player who is friendly, patient, and enthusiastic with clients and their pets and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. It is essential that they possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, have great attention to detail, and can multitask.

Job responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarian with animals before, during and after surgery
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
- Prepare and administer medications and treatment under the direction of veterinarian.
- Communicate with clients about animal care and discuss discharge instructions.
- Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
- Maintain animal records by documenting animal conditions, reactions, and changes, updating the database.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 2 or 3 year College diploma/degree in health/veterinary is required.
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician will be an asset but not mandatory.
- Applicant must be fluent in English.
