Event marketing specialist

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time 

Salary:$27.88Hourly,for 30.00Hoursperweek Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location:450 SW Marine Dr, 18th Floor. Vancouver BC V5X 0C3

Education: A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, or journalism, is required.

Experience: 2 years of experience in the field are required

Languages:WrittenandSpokenEnglish is required 

Duties:

~ Assess characteristics of the services to be promoted and advise on the advertising needs of the firm,

~Advise  firm Manager on advertising and  sales promotion strategies

~Develop and implement advertising campaigns appropriate for print or electronic media

~Gather, research and prepare communications material for internal needs  and external audiences

~Develop, implement and evaluate communications strategies and programs designed to inform clients, employees and the general public of initiatives and policies of businesses, governments and other organizations

~Prepare the preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Web sites and press releases

~Develop and organize workshops, meetings and other events for publicity and information purposes
