Framing Carpenter

Tej Builders Group Ltd. has an immediate opening for 2 Framing Carpenters (NOC: 72310) at our location in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

As a Framing Carpenter, you will perform the following duties:

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
• Measure, cut and shape the wooden materials.

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawing to determine specifications
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures.
• Prepare the layouts and designs as per customer requirements.
• Prepare the cost estimates for customers.
• Supervise the activities of other workers at work site.
• Operate power and manual tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

Completion of High School Education is required.

Completion of three to four year of apprenticeship program or more than 3 years of experience in related field combined with high school education is required.

Knowledge of the English Language

Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week)

Compensation: $30.00/hr. + 4% of Vacation pay of gross salary.

Work locations: Various locations throughout the lower mainland with a business based at 3634 New Castle Dr, Abbotsford, British Columbia – V2T 5M7
